Job Description

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to strengthen patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive, all-encompassing care
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate individuals and their families about therapy approaches to encourage ongoing progress at home
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans when necessary, ensuring that patients are on target

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited establishment
• Ongoing education or additional certifications will be encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
