Job Description Job Description QA/QC Inspector Location: Westfield, IN Job Type: Contract Contract Duration: Through 10/25/2027 Schedule: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Pay: $20.66/hr Experience: 0–2 years Education: High School Diploma/GED required Position Summary: We are seeking a QA/QC Inspector to perform quality inspections of finished assemblies and manufactured products. The Inspector will independently evaluate parts and finished devices, document inspection results, and ensure products meet established quality and manufacturing requirements. Responsibilities: Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured products. Inspect parts and assemblies using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment . Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications . Identify defects, failures, and non-conformances and assist with determining appropriate solutions. Document inspection results accurately in device batch records and quality documentation. Maintain accurate traveler and quality records to ensure part traceability. Perform audits and inspections according to established procedures. Follow GMP/cGMP, safety, and quality procedures . Work with Engineering and Quality teams on inspections, new products, and non-conformance issues. Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives. Communicate inspection findings, problems, and solutions to Quality and Manufacturing teams. Follow standardized work instructions and procedures. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. 1–2 years of QA/QC, inspection, manufacturing, or related experience. Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or similar precision measuring equipment . Ability to read and understand blueprints or technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Basic problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams. Medical device, GMP/cGMP, or regulated manufacturing experience is a plus. Schedule & Pay $20.66/hr 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Monday–Friday
