Vice President of Operations (Multi-Site Healthcare)

American Dental Companies (ADC) is looking for a hands-on Vice President of Operations to own the execution engine behind our multi-site growth. You will be responsible for operational performance across 40–80+ locations in 15 states - setting the cadence, closing the gaps, and building strong foundational processes to drive growth.

This is a field-facing role based in Phoenix, AZ, with up to 50% travel. You will spend meaningful time on-site with regional teams - not to inspect, but to unblock, optimize, and accelerate.

Unlike a traditional, rigid Dental Service Organization (DSO), ADC operates on a foundational, dentist-owned philosophy that puts patient care and clinical autonomy first. We provide world-class, centralized non-clinical support (including payroll, IT, marketing, accounting, and revenue cycle management) using economies of scale so that our partner practices can focus purely on excellence. We are "Doing Dentistry Differently," and we need an operational "Captain" to lead our business flows to new heights.

• Operational Performance: Drive accountability structures, workflows, and KPIs across all partner locations.

• Regional Team Effectiveness: Establish operating cadences, executive coaching, escalation paths, and day-to-day execution.

• Multi-Site Infrastructure: Optimize centralized business processes while strictly preserving clinical autonomy at the practice level.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with centralized support teams (payroll, IT, marketing, accounting, insurance/RCM).

• Scalable Systems: Build and reinforce structures to support continuous geometric expansion in a PE-backed environment.

• Multi-Site Experience: A proven track record of 3–5+ years running operations across a senior multi-unit footprint. Experience in healthcare, dental, or adjacent multi-unit consumer services is highly preferred.

• Scale Capability: Demonstrated experience managing or scaling teams through geographic expansion, with the clear capability to step up and run a 30+ site footprint.

• Operator Mindset: You solve complex operational problems by fixing systems and structural processes, not just escalating them.

• PE Pedigree: Highly comfortable in private equity-backed environments with defined timelines, growth targets, and investor reporting expectations.

• Culture Builder: Exceptionally strong at building trust with field leadership and clinical partners while maintaining non-negotiable operational standards.

ADC is a Dental Partnership Organization - a meaningful distinction from a traditional DSO. Our partner dentists retain clinical ownership and autonomy. ADC provides the centralized infrastructure so practices can focus entirely on patient care. Your job is to make that centralized support engine run exceptionally well at scale.

• Highly Competitive Base: $170,000 – $210,000 base salary per year.
