Must-Have: Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS, AHA-NRP or ARC-NALSDescription: Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care. Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment. Collect relevant data pertinent to patients' health or situations. Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develop plans that prescribe interventions to attain outcomes. Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes. Collaborate with the team of patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing safe, healing, humane, and caring patient care. Provide learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Directly provide health information to patients, families, and treatment teams. Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
