Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll serve as a key presence on the floor—providing clear direction, enforcing standards, and supporting employees as they do their best work. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Coordinate and oversee production and maintenance activities to meet or exceed customer requirements. · Provide clear guidance and direction to production employees, ensuring they are informed of job-related matters and expectations. · Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and documentation to maintain consistent and compliant manufacturing processes. · Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality, productivity, and delivery performance. · Address environmental, health, and safety issues promptly and consistently. · Collaborate with Human Resources to manage employee relations matters as they arise. · Monitor adherence to policies and procedures, providing coaching, counseling, and discipline as needed. · Establish and manage work schedules, including interviewing and recommending new hires as required. · Review and approve employee timecards for bi-weekly payroll processing. · Distribute Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and tools as necessary. · Evaluate employee performance and provide recommendations for improvement to the Operations Manager. · Facilitate communication and coordination between departments and support functions. · Maintain a safe and organized work environment, coordinating cleanups as needed. · Attend production meetings as required. · Perform other duties as assigned.
