Registered Nurse (RN) - Atrium Health Mercy Emergency Department Where You Will Work: Atrium Health Mercy, a 196-bed facility of Carolinas Medical Center, is one of two Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) locations and is 1.3 miles from CMC. As a Planetree Certified facility, we focus on the following: -Connect values, strategies, and action -Implement practices that promote partnership -Use evidence to drive improvement -Create organizational structures that promote engagement We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new grads Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association What You’ll Do: As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. About This Location: For more than 100 years, Atrium Health Mercy has treated approximately 80-110 Emergency Department patients and 130-212 in-patients daily with a special combination of human compassion and leading-edge expertise. Atrium Health Mercy is a full-service community hospital, specializing in the care of seniors and in complex foot and ankle surgery, hip and knee surgery, bariatric surgery, and women’s pelvic health.
