About the Position

Job Title

RN – Radiation Oncology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, and 9:00 AM–5:30 PM | No weekends or holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy treatments
• Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to radiation therapy
• Collaborate with the oncology care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment processes, side effect management, and supportive care
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered, ensuring patient safety throughout the care continuum

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
• Experience in oncology or radiation oncology nursing
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to start prior to October

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a radiation oncology outpatient setting
• Familiarity with radiation therapy protocols and side effect management
• Strong patient education and communication skills
