Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) night shift position in Houston, TX, requiring 1 year of ED experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Position is located in a Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) setting
• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract duration

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ED/ER nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, CPI (or accepted equivalent: SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA), and NIH Stroke Scale — all from AHA or ARC; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible; 1 year of recent specialty experience is required
