To support policyholders in navigating legal challenges, the full-time Illinois Licensed Litigation Attorney will manage civil litigation, draft pleadings, and advocate for clients in various legal forums while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Manage civil litigation for the company and its insureds, adhering to established guidelines and ethical standards Draft necessary pleadings and conduct research to advance litigation activities at trial or appellate levels Advocate for client positions in state courts, alternative dispute resolution, and regulatory hearings Required qualifications: Juris Doctor degree Admitted to the Illinois state bar Demonstrated litigation experience Solid knowledge of tort, contract, and insurance law Experience preparing civil pleadings, motions, and conducting witness depositions
