Tax Senior
The Tax Senior is a key member of the tax team, responsible for providing tax advice and guidance to clients on a variety of tax issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax law and regulations, as well as the ability to communicate complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Responsibilities of the Tax Senior include:
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
- Providing tax advice and guidance to clients on a variety of tax issues
- Resolving tax disputes with the IRS and state taxing authorities
- Managing client relationships and providing ongoing tax services
Qualifications for the Tax Senior position include:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA license or ability to obtain one within one year of employment
- 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and/or tax consulting
- Strong understanding of tax law and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
