JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Line Lead is responsible for driving line efficiency, optimizing labor utilization, maintaining safe and compliant operations, and ensuring production goals are achieved. This position provides on-the-floor leadership, coaching, coordination, and communication to support daily manufacturing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate safety, quality, staffing, and production expectations. Coordinate daily production activities, staffing, line flow, changeovers, and production priorities. Monitor production OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) performance on an hourly basis, quality, labor utilization, waste, downtime, scrap goals and overall operational performance. Provide coaching, training, and guidance to associates while supporting employee development and cross-training. Respond to downtime, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate support from maintenance, quality, and supervision. Complete production documentation, shift reports, labor tracking, and operational records accurately and timely. Communicate shift performance, inventory status, and operational concerns during shift handoffs. Ensure compliance with safety policies, GMPs, SOPs, and company standards. Escalate safety, quality, employee relations, and operational concerns as appropriate. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 2 + years of manufacturing leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Working knowledge of safety requirements, GMPs, quality systems, and manufacturing processes. Ability to train, coach, motivate and develop employees. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Compensation: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $20/hour in our lowest geographic market up to $35/hour in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
