Role Description The Marketing Assistant will support day-to-day marketing and outreach activities for FunToDo.com’s local-first social media platform. This contract, on-site role in Cape Coral, FL includes assisting with local business outreach, gathering marketing materials, and coordinating promotional activities aligned with FunToDo’s brand and mission. Responsibilities include conducting basic market research on local businesses and consumers, supporting customer-facing interactions, helping prepare sales and marketing presentations, and maintaining accurate records of contacts and campaign performance. The Marketing Assistant will collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to execute local campaigns, support events or demonstrations, and ensure consistent messaging across online and offline channels. Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with businesses and consumers. Ability to conduct Market Research to understand local trends, customer needs, and competitive activity. Customer Service skills for building positive relationships and responding to inquiries professionally. Sales and Sales & Marketing skills to support lead generation, outreach, and promotional efforts. Interest in social media, digital marketing, and community-focused platforms. Organizational skills and attention to detail for tracking activities, schedules, and campaign data. Ability to work on-site in Cape Coral, FL and collaborate with a small, dynamic team.
