Position Position: Community Manager Location: City Place Lofts Hiring Manager: David Hanson Rate of Pay: $25.00 per hour Responsibilities The Community Manager is responsible for the total on-site operation of the assigned community(ies). Maintain high occupancy and manage move-ins, renovations, and turns in a timely manner. Prepare written reports and logs (Plumbing & Smoke Detectors) for Regional Manager on a quarterly basis. Submit weekly and month-end reports to the Regional Manager. Monitor advertising sources (internet, print ads, locator services). Administration Maintain regular office hours (e.g., 8:00–5:00 or 9:00–6:00). Handle resident concerns and enforce lease agreements and house/community policies. Prepare/process documents related to rent (e.g., non-payment, UD). Monitor key control and document changes in resident/maintenance files. Oversee, direct and mentor site staff; supervise contracted services and vendors. Prepare and monitor annual operating budgets; respond to emails and voicemails promptly. Approve invoices in PayScan; provide leasing assistance as needed. Record Keeping/Reporting Ensure documents are scanned and filed in Yardi Voyager. Provide Regional Manager with a monthly building report. Prepare all non-financial government agency reports. Education, Experience and Other Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years in Property Management. Basic knowledge of bookkeeping. Problem-solving ability with staff and residents. Good written and verbal communication skills. Mental and Physical Requirements Ability to lift moderately heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform duties requiring maneuverability and strength. Work is performed in interior and exterior structures and common areas.
