Job Title: US- Talent Acquisition Specialist Duration: 6-12 + Months Location: Cambridge MA Pay Rate: $45-50/hourly on W2

JOB SUMMARY

Role Overview We are seeking a senior Human Resources professional to independently manage full-cycle recruitment for client. Reporting to the Associate Director of Talent Acquisition, this role aligns with HR Recruiter III (Grade 57) job family, acting as a strategic advisor to hiring managers throughout the process. Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Recruitment: Oversee a portfolio of exempt and non-exempt staff searches from workforce planning and requisition approval through candidate selection, offer acceptance, and closeout. Consultative Partnership: Conduct intake meetings, develop recruiting strategies, advise managers on hiring practices, and ensure equitable, efficient searches in compliance with University standards. Sourcing & Diversity: Execute comprehensive strategies to attract qualified, diverse candidate pools via professional associations, community organizations, networking, and digital platforms. System Management: Utilize SmartRecruiters as the primary ATS for job postings, workflows, candidate evaluations, interview records, and offer documentation. AI & Tech Integration: Responsible use of Harvard-approved AI tools for sourcing, job descriptions, and workflow efficiency while maintaining data security and guarding against bias. Candidate Qualifications Experience: 4+ years of progressive full-cycle recruiting and HR experience (higher education, research institute, or complex institutional background preferred). Skills: Strong stakeholder management, consultative advisory skills, and expertise in promoting structured, equitable hiring practices. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with enterprise Applicant Tracking Systems (SmartRecruiters experience is highly ideal).
