The FT/PT Optician plays a critical role in providing excellent eyewear services within a medium-sized team, reporting directly to the Optometrist. This position focuses on lens dispensing, expert eyewear fitting, and assisting customers in selecting appropriate frames to meet their vision needs. The role requires collaboration with team members to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Four day work week-No Weekends

 

Responsibilities

• Dispense lenses accurately according to prescriptions
• Fit eyewear effectively to ensure comfort and proper vision
• Assist customers in selecting frames that suit their style and needs

 

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in optical sales

 

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in eyewear fitting and lens dispensing
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Effective team collaboration abilities
• Knowledge of vision insurance processes
• EHR experience
