Registered Nurse - Night Shift - 3x12-Hour

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 hour Night Shift (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will demonstrate knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process for patients across various age groups. This role includes thorough documentation of care, adherence to regulatory and hospital requirements, and responsibility for clinical competencies and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support for diverse medical conditions including sepsis, respiratory failure, trauma, and post-operative care.
• Document patient information and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Utilize good judgment and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and social services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Valid RN license in hand at time of submission.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Travel experience preferred, with candidates adhering to the 100-mile radius rule.
