Part-Time CDL Class A Delivery Driver

Description:

Royal Packaging/Distributors is seeking an experienced and dependable CDL Class A Driver to make palletized deliveries throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The driver will be responsible for transporting and unloading products safely and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

Report to work early and depart on schedule.
Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and professionally.
Complete deliveries throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
Load, secure, transport, and unload palletized products.
Operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
Verify products and quantities against deliver paperwork.
Obtain customer signatures and return completed delivery documents.
Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and delays.
Report shortages, damages, accidents, or vehicle problems immediately.
Follow DOT regulations and all company safety procedures.
Operate company vehicles equipped with GPS and camera systems.
Maintain a clean and organized truck.

Requirements:

Valid CDL Class A driver’s license.
Current DOT medical card.
Acceptable driving record.
Commercial delivery experience preferred.
Experience driving in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
Ability to operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
Ability to perform the physical work associated with palletized deliveries.
Dependable, punctual, and professional with customers.
Ability to complete delivery paperwork accurately.
Must pass all required drug testing and driver qualification requirements.
