Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg/Tele (Travel) in Saint Louis, MO, United States. Start date 06/29/2026 for a 3–4 week assignment per compliance tier, with biweekly start dates. Nights on a 3x12 shift pattern. Weekly pay range: $2,128–$2,147. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 3x12 shifts. This inpatient MS/Tele unit focuses on Orthopedic, Neurology, Med/Surg, and Stroke care within a facility with 233 staffed beds and EPIC charting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult units with primary diagnoses spanning Orthopedic, Neurology, Med/Surg, and Stroke, including post-operative joint patients.
- Monitor telemetry, assess neuro status, administer medications, start IVs, manage PICC lines, and operate PCA as appropriate.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans; ensure adherence to isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
- Document accurately in the electronic charting system (EPIC); respond to changes in patient conditions and escalate to the charge nurse as needed.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort by adhering to clinical standards, maintaining 1:6 patient ratios, and adapting to census fluctuations.
- May float to other MS/Tele units as assigned (excluding ICU, SDU, and ED) to support patient care needs.

Requirements
- Current RN license in the United States; pending license accepted.
- Required certifications: BCLS and NIHSS (NIHSS) at time of hire.
- Experience: 2+ years RN experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted.
- Telemetry and adult MS/Neurology/Stroke care experience; ability to work in a MS/Tele setting and to float as needed.
- RTO restrictions: max 7 days of RTO within a 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week; no new RTO after submission. Locals not accepted within a 75-mile radius.
