Senior Antenna Engineer

IC Resources is partnering with an innovative space technology company developing next generation Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communications systems. This is an opportunity to join a highly experienced engineering team working on advanced antenna technologies that will play a critical role in the deployment of a global satellite constellation. This position is ideal for a hands on antenna engineer who enjoys solving challenging electromagnetic problems and taking designs from concept through simulation, prototyping, testing, and deployment in a fast-paced R&D environment. The Role As a Senior Antenna Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of advanced antenna systems for space based communications. Working within a collaborative engineering team, you'll have significant technical ownership and contribute throughout the complete product development lifecycle. Responsibilities Design, simulate, prototype, and validate advanced antenna systems for satellite communications. Perform electromagnetic modeling using industry standard simulation tools. Develop and optimize antenna architectures for performance, manufacturability, and integration. Support antenna measurements, calibration, and RF validation in laboratory environments. Work closely with RF, systems, mechanical, and hardware engineering teams throughout product development. Investigate and resolve antenna performance challenges using simulation and experimental data. Contribute to the rapid development of next generation communication technologies. Required Experience 5+ years of antenna design experience. Strong understanding of electromagnetics, microwave engineering, and antenna theory. Experience designing antennas such as electronically scanned arrays, patch antennas, horns, waveguides, or similar RF structures. Hands on experience using HFSS, CST, FEKO, or equivalent EM simulation tools. Experience with antenna prototyping, tuning, and RF measurements. Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or similar engineering tools. Strong communication skills with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary engineering team. Preferred Experience Satellite or aerospace communications. Phased array, reflect array, or transmitarray antenna development. Beam forming techniques. mmWave or microwave systems.
