Site Lead

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a Site Lead at Hartford Elementary School to help create a fun, structured, and enriching experience for students. This individual will work alongside the Site Coordinator and other Site Leads, providing leadership and support. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate and support daily lesson plans and activities. Effectively manage student behaviors using positive reinforcement and classroom management strategies. Help implement the daily schedule, ensuring all activities run on time and transitions are smooth. Ensure the safety and supervision of all children at all times. Encourage participation and foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students feel valued. Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and guardians as needed. Assist with program logistics, including setup, cleanup, and organization of materials. Model professionalism and enthusiasm, setting a positive example for students and staff. Asks the supervisor when unsure of priorities. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with children in an educational, camp, or childcare setting for at least 1 year. Classroom management and behavior management experience. Ability to effectively supervise children during daily activities. Strong organizational and communication skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
