in Rome, Ga Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm Compensation: $18.00/hr - $24.00/hr based on experience Work Setting: In-office On-Call: Weekday rotation plus approximately one weekend per month As a Home Care Scheduling Coordinator with Interim HealthCare, you’ll do more than create schedules, you’ll ensure every client receives dependable, timely care when they need it most. As a Home Care Scheduling Coordinator, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do: Create and maintain caregiver schedules to ensure consistent client coverage Quickly fill open shifts due to call-offs, schedule changes, or new client cases Coordinate caregiver assignments based on availability, skills, and client needs Communicate scheduling updates clearly and professionally with caregivers and clients Monitor attendance, call-offs, and caregiver reliability trends Maintain accurate records within scheduling and EVV systems Collaborate with recruiting and clinical teams to anticipate staffing needs Provide on-call scheduling support as assigned Ensure continuity of care by proactively addressing scheduling challenges A few must-haves for the Home Care Scheduling Coordinator: High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred At least one (1) year of scheduling, staffing coordination, or home care experience preferred Strong customer service and phone communication skills Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Professional, calm demeanor under pressure Why work for Interim Healthcare?
