Job Duties Local port/harbor work Pick up and drop off containers at the LA and Long Beach terminals

Driving Requirements Valid CDL-A license DOT Medical Card Hazmat endorsement a plus Valid TWIC card FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR 2 years CDL experience (within the past 3 years) driving work in and out of ports of LA and Long Beach No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years) No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)

What You Will Do As a CDL A Port Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service. The CDL A Port Driver plays an essential role in delivering products, materials, and equipment where they are needed safely and on time. This position combines professional driving skills with a commitment to safety, organization, and dependable service. A successful CDL A Port Driver understands vehicle inspections, route planning, transportation documentation, and safe operating practices while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Strong professionalism, reliability, and customer service skills allow CDL A Port Driver professionals to build trust while supporting efficient transportation operations.
