Office Surveyor 3+ years

Overview Wood, Patel & Associates, Inc. (WOODPATEL) is a leading civil engineering firm in Arizona. We are hiring an Office Surveyor for our Phoenix or Mesa offices. This full‑time position offers an opportunity to advance your career in a well‑respected company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare ALTA, boundary and topographic surveys, final plats, and legal descriptions for public and private projects. Process survey field notes, perform survey related research, and compile site related information. Perform construction staking calculations to support field crews. Apply knowledge of the Public Land Survey System, title commitments, easements, Arizona Boundary Survey Minimum Standards, and municipal submittal requirements. Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center proficiently. Have experience with Microstation (a plus). Understand construction calculation requirements, including reading plans, specifications, or details, and as‑builts. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Requirements Minimum of 3+ years land surveying experience. LSIT or RLS certification is a plus. High school diploma or G.E.D. Technical drafting degree preferred but not required. Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
