Busy family in Bellaire is in search of a nanny/family support specialist. This role is about 10% childcare and 90% household support, as the family has an au pair and housekeeper. Typical duties include resetting the house, tidying up the home, household laundry, organizing closets, drawers, the kitchen, the kids' toys and papers, and the home office, cleaning out the fridge and pantry, sorting items for donation, running errands, grocery shopping, picking out and purchasing birthday/occasion gifts, and scheduling/handling car servicing. On rare occasions the nanny/family support specialist may need to drive the children or care for them briefly as backup, but this isn't a consistent part of the role. This family values punctuality, reliability, honesty, trustworthiness, and a good worth ethic. Ideal candidates will take initiative and enjoy work independently. This family is seeking an individual who supports the family’s parenting style, engages appropriately with the children, and can grow to become an extended member of the family.
