JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking an Accounting Support Representative to support daily accounting operations, cash account reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, research discrepancies, process correction requests, and assist with accounting-related transactions in a fast-paced financial services environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience within a financial institution or similar environment.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Experience performing account reconciliations and researching discrepancies.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and independently resolve problems.
- Experience working with accounting systems and software applications.
- Experience working in a credit union environment.
- Knowledge of financial products, services, and operations.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements within financial services.
- Previous experience processing journal entries, correction requests, and clearing accounts.
