Job Description
TITLE
Charge Nurse - Nursing

SCHEDULE
Days 7a-7p

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

REQUIREMENTS
- Active State of Maine or Compact RN license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience
- Associate's degree in nursing

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and direct total nursing care for an assigned group of residents/patients during the shift.
- Assume full responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident/patient care.
- Participate in patient/resident and family education.
- Provide leadership by working collaboratively with team members according to established policies and procedures.
- Support quality management initiatives and act as a resource for the unit.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Local Travelers accepted - will receive a $10/hr lower local rate.
- Facility may cancel up to three shifts per 13-week assignment.
