Personal Fitness Trainer

- Develop and maintain membership for Legacy's Wellness Program
- Perform and document LiveFit services with residents following company's policy and procedures under guidance of the Rehabilitation Director/Area Rehab Director.
- Provide personal fitness through Legacy's LiveFit program and completes required billing and documentation.
- Deliver LiveFit treatment plans in accordance with Legacy's programs. Fitness plans will be developed to improve health, fitness levels, and meet the members' fitness goals.
- Provide group fitness and wellness services through our LiveFit Program.

This individual will play a vital role in promoting wellness, independence, and overall functionality among our senior resident population. The Personal Fitness trainer / Rehab Tech will provide a fun and challenging experience, and will discuss, motivate, and teach the fitness member to improve and maintain their fitness and strength. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech is responsible for identifying goals, delivering tailored exercise plans for personal fitness and group sessions in accordance with Legacy's program structure. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech will assist with marketing the LiveFit program to increase membership.

Position Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- College graduate preferred with bachelor's degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.
- Current personal training or group fitness certification from a nationally recognized and accredited organization (ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA) is required.
- Preferred 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience
- Previous experience with senior population desirable.
- Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience.
- CPR/AED Certification must be current and
- Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Pay Range
USD $20.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
