Job Summary The Change Management Specialist identifies, manages, and maintains all change management activities in the Ziply fiber network as well as monitoring third party change activity. This is a fully on-site role in Everett, WA; remote or hybrid work is not available. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Essential Duties and Responsibilities listed below are a range of duties performed by the employee and not intended to reflect all duties performed. Change Management Coordination Process internal and third-party change management requests into the CM system. Communicate across multiple business units to coordinate scheduling for change management events. Resolve scheduling conflicts with internal business units as well as third parties. Customer Notification and Communication Research to identify customers’ contact information to notify the customer about service affecting CMs within the SLA. Monitoring and replying to email correspondence pertaining to CM work with internal and external parties. Cross-Functional Communication Run a regular cadence of informative meetings across multiple business units to inform about change activity within the network. Other Duties Performs other duties as required to support the business and evolving organization. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing end-to-end telecommunications support. Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct customer support. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Proficient in utilizing network monitoring tools. Experienced in analyzing network topology to identify impacted network elements and customers. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and reasoning skills to a variety of situations. Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with other personnel to meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to work within critical deadlines. Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules. Ability to provide excellent customer service. Understanding of network topology. Knowledge of process documentation, procedures, and systems. Knowledge with the operation of routers and switches.
