Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Part-time) - NICU

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Part‑time) INTEGRIS Health Children’s at Baptist Medical Center is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a 40‑bed unit. The role supports a collaborative team of five board‑certified neonatologists, NNPs, RNs, respiratory therapists, social workers, and ancillary staff who provide family‑centered care to more than 450 infants annually. The position requires approximately six 12‑hour shifts each month, days or nights. Take a look: Questions? View email address on click.appcast.io Responsibilities Initiate and complete detailed patient assessments. Order laboratory tests, radiological examinations, and other routine diagnostic procedures. Diagnose health problems or needs and plan therapeutic interventions based on data analysis. Order and initiate appropriate medication, treatment, and consultation. Perform routine procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing (excluding tendons, arteries, or nerves), wound care, venous and arterial blood draws, and manage simple conditions from infection, trauma, or disease. Educate patients on prescribed treatments and medications. Report to the supervising physician and Operations Manager/Practice Management. Comply with physical demand and respiratory fit test requirements as outlined by the Physical Demands Project SharePoint or Risk Management/Employee Health. Follow standard precautions for potential exposure to infections, communicable diseases, blood, body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals.
