We make power systems that are faster to deploy, dramatically smaller and more efficient, and capable of supporting modern, dynamic energy needs for tomorrow's most demanding energy consumers.Scalable in-house advanced manufacturing capability is our foundation for meeting timeline and quality expectation to serve infrastructure customers around the world.Amperesand is led by breakthrough energy hardware development veterans and funded by top tier investors who share our vision of building a category-defining energy technology company.With hubs in San Francisco, Reno, and Singapore, our global team is laser focused on building foundational technology to solve the most pressing problems in power infrastructure at scale.Join us in building the power foundation of the future!ResponsibilitiesIdentify and evaluate global suppliers; negotiate and execute contracts with strategic partners to secure high-quality materials at competitive pricesDrive total cost optimization (base cost, tariffs, transportation, quality, lead time) in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersAnalyze market trends, lead times, and material risks to ensure build readiness and minimize production disruptions through appropriate risk-buy strategiesDevelop and execute an international logistics strategy—including routing guides, shipping mode selection, and customs clearance processesBuild tools and processes to provide visibility into sourcing, material readiness, cost impact, cost reduction opportunities, risk analysis, and supplier performanceTrack and report on KPIs including cost, delivery times, inventory turnover, and supplier performanceCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, NPI, operations, and leadership to align supply chain strategy with business objectivesQualificationsBachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, logistics, business, or a related field (Master's preferred); experience sourcing electrical power products is a strong plus3 + years of combined experience in supply chain, program management, or engineering, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneouslyBackground in new technology or NPI-stage supply chain, ideally in a startup environmentExperience working with electrical systems, power electronics, or similar hardware in a manufacturing or production contextExceptional communication and negotiation skills—written, verbal, and visualProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects across organizational linesAbility to prioritize effectively under pressure and adapt quickly to changeWillingness to travel up to 20%, including internationallyPlease note: This role requires working on-site 5 days a week.
