Documentum Developer

This Lead will develop and leads custom software applications efforts for the client user community consisting of approximately 4,500 intramural employees, contractors, and collaborators. However, applications are increasingly being developed for access by the public, and so the scope and visibility of any developed application may be unlimited. Custom applications have been developed in the following functional areas: Scientific Reporting Services and System Support; Grants Management Systems; Contracts Managements Systems; Human Resources Management Systems; Administrative Management Systems; and Other Management Systems. The ideal candidate should have strong software architecture & development experience and be very comfortable in learning an existing product and adjusting product architecture as customer requirements or technology evolves. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Documentum applications, workflows, and customizations. Design, code, and debug Documentum-based applications using DFC, DQL, and Webtop/DA. Perform system configuration and integration tasks in Documentum environments. Build and deploy Documentum components, including custom business objects, TBOs, and SBOs. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure proper access controls and compliance standards are adhered to for Documentum repositories. Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues in Documentum systems. Upgrade, patch, and migrate Documentum platforms when necessary. Integrate Documentum with third-party systems and APIs. Create and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, workflows, and technical guides. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 3+ years of experience working with Documentum ECM platforms, including Content Server, DFC, and DQL. Proficiency in Java, JSP, XML, XSLT, and other related technologies. Experience with Documentum Webtop, D2, xCP, and DA. Strong understanding of database systems (Oracle, SQL Server) and query languages. Familiarity with application servers such as WebLogic or Tomcat. Experience with workflows, lifecycle management, and access control configuration in Documentum. Knowledge of scripting languages like Shell or Python for automation. Familiarity with version control tools like Git. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team. #J-18808-Ljbffr Neevsys LLC
