Business Development - Account Executive II

Position Summary The Account Executive (AE) II will develop and implement a sales and marketing plan. The AE II will establish and develop relationships with new referral sources as well as maintain relationships with current referral sources. The AE II will educate medical referral sources about Alivia Home Health services with a strong emphasis on customer service.

Shift: M-F, Days with occasional evenings and weekends as needed Essential Functions
- Achieve quarterly and annual referral and admission goals within assigned region/territory as set by the Regional Business Development Manager.
- Educate medical community on appropriate home health referrals, the benefits of in-home care, and Alivia Home Health services.
- Initiate, cultivate, develop, and enhance relationships with physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, ACOs, payers and other Referral Partners or Network Providers
- Develop and track time and territory management plan for complete coverage of assigned territory
- Makes 8 to 10 physician calls per day as well as numerous visits with office and hospital staff
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner per Alivia Home Health policies and procedures
- Leverage in-service events, formal and informal education events to insure delivery of Alivia Home Health messages
- Maintain accurate record of all expenses and report to Alivia Home Health on a timely basis.
- Collaborate with other members of the home health team within your assigned territory
- Back up fellow AEs as needed for special events and vacation time
- Comply with Alivia Home Health policies, procedures, and standard practices as well as laws and regulations
- Participate in organizational committees that enhance the working relationship between departments of the company
- Use resources in a fiscally responsible manner
- Promote Alivia Home Health through participation in community and professional organizations
- Complete assigned training and in-services in a timely manner.
- At all times, represent Alivia Home Health professionally through care and/or services provided to all clients and patients
- Maintain the confidentiality of patients and families within Alivia Home Health as per government mandates
- Additional duties, as assigned
- Lead generation
- Strong communication skills with ability to listen
- Ability to communicate and articulate Alivia Home Health services and benefits to medical professionals in a clear and concise manner
- Excellent presentation skills for both small and large audiences
- Ability to work autonomously yet support the needs of Alivia Home Health and your fellow team members
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales force automation systems
- Track record of success at self-driven sales (medical service related)
- 1 to 2 years of home health care experience.
- Prior sales experience in healthcare or other industries may be considered.
- Current State of Florida driver's license with driving record acceptable to Alivia Home Health insurance carrier, and reliable transportation
- Current Auto Insurance coverage
- Level II AHCA (Agency for Healthcare Administration) background screening
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
