We are seeking an experience and motived Operational Manager to oversee our Housekeeping and Maintenance operations while supporting the General Manager in driving overall hotel performance.This leadership position is responsible for ensuring the hotel's physical condition, cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about team development, asset protection, and operational efficiency.Position SummaryThe operational Manager oversees the daily operations of the Housekeeping and Maintenance departments, ensuring the hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality, This role is responsible for protecting hotel assets through preventive maintenance, leading high performing teams, and supporting guest satisfaction initiatives. The Operations Manager champions WS Management's commitment to Outrageous Hospitality, core values, and the three P Philosophy:People: Support and develop team members through effective leadership and coaching.Planet: Promote sustainable and efficient operational practicesProfit: Protect hotel assets and optimize labor and operational expenses.This position serves as a Manager-On-Duty and may act as the General Manager's representative when necessary.Key responsibilities Housekeeping Leadership & Quality Assurance Oversee daily housekeeping operations, room readiness, inspections, and cleaning standards.Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet or exceed brand standardsManage scheduling staffing levels, training, coaching, and performance management for Housekeeping team members.Partner closely with Front Desk leadership to ensure room status accuracy and efficient room turnover.Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective action plans when neccessary.Maintenance & Asset ManagementLead preventative maintenance programs and ensure timely completion of work orders.Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety equipmentPerform regular property inspections to identify maintenance, safety, and appearance concerns.Coordinate vender services, repairs, and approval capital improvement projectsProtect hotel assets through proactive maintenance and repair planningSafety, Compliance & Risk MangementEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and fire-life-safety standardsOversee proper chemical handling, MSDS compliance, and equipment safety procedures,Maintain accurate inspection records, logs, and compliance documentationRespond professionally and effectively to emergencies and operational incidentsPromote a culture of workplace safety and accountabilityQualificationsMinimum 3 years of hotel operations, housekeeping, maintenance, or facilities management leadership experienceProven experience leading and developing teams in a hospitality environmentStrong understanding of hotel operations, cleanliness standards, and preventative maintenance programs.Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systemsExperience managing labor costs, departmental budgets, and inventory controlsStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.  This statement listed are intended to represent the key duties and level of work being performed.
