Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician Assistant

Schedule: 4 days/week 10-hour shifts

Step into the operating room and bring your expertise to life in a high-acuity surgical setting. This opportunity is tailored for a highly experienced PA with a strong background in thoracic or cardiac first-assist procedures especially those with robotic experience .

You ll have the chance to work independently while collaborating with elite surgeons in a Level II Trauma Center . Every case is meaningful. Every shift is impactful.

Serve as a key OR first assist in thoracic or cardiac surgeries
Perform bedside assisting and robotic lung resections / foregut procedures
Handle pre-op testing and clinic coverage with autonomy
Deliver outstanding care to an adult-only patient population

Board Certification (NCCPA)
Active Michigan license
Minimum 2+ years of Thoracic OR experience

(Cardiac first-assist PAs with strong experience also considered)

Robotic surgery expertise bedside assisting, docking, lung resections (Highly Preferred)
BLS & ACLS certifications
Clean background
Prior experience with Epic
Ability to work independently in high-pressure surgical environments

4 days per week 10-hour shifts
No call, no weekends
