Pharmacist in Hobbs, NM

An immediate need exists for a Staff Pharmacist to support a 60-bed hospital in Hobbs, NM. This contract opportunity offers a consistent daytime schedule with a focus on delivering quality pharmaceutical care within a hospital environment utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems.


Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Day shifts: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Wednesday through Tuesday rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management

Qualifications:

• Previous hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Active New Mexico pharmacist license or willingness to obtain a temporary license quickly
