Associate Financial Advisor

Job Description Title: Associate Financial Advisor Salary: Commensurate with Skills Employment Type: Full Time, in office Required Experience: 5+ years Position Description: This position is for an Associate Financial Advisor (AFA) to manage an existing block of clients. There is no cold-calling or required revenue production. The AFA supports the Financial Advisor to further develop and enhance existing client relationships. The AFA will act as a key point of contact for clients on non-administrative requests. He or she will assist the Financial Advisor by attending client meetings and discussions covering financial planning, investment strategy, tax optimization, and portfolio performance. The AFA will communicate with team members to assist with the coordination of all sales and service activities, as well as assist with business development to promote firm growth. Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Identify and own the client onboarding process Assist with client investment and insurance service needs Client interaction, including virtual meetings, in-person meetings, and telephone contact Support business development and marketing efforts for the book of business Work alongside other team members during client case development Overall management of client’s accounts and orchestrating their financial future Document client interactions and provide team with time sensitive updates Monitor and report on client satisfaction and manage the resolution of client escalations Qualifications for Ideal Candidate: Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree with 3+ years’ experience in financial planning, investment management and insurance Series 7, 65 and 66 Life and Health Insurance licenses Obtain and maintain CFP designation, preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with particular attention to detail, ability to multitask Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office suite Positive attitude & professional appearance and demeanor Strong desire to grow and develop Benefits and Compensation: Competitive compensation depending on experience Health, dental, vision insurance Life and disability insurance 401(k) retirement plan #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
