Senior Web Designer

Web Content DeveloperAs part of the web content discipline, creates and maintains web content, images and design consistent with the Bancorp's Brand and general Internet standards including code and ADA best practices. Serves as a liaison between line of business, marketing and information technology teams. Partners with teams to understand, develop and code overall initiatives. Develops web-based code, such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS. Identifies, researches and analyzes production problems, develops solutions and coordinates resolutions among web designers / developers, lines of business partners, department senior leadership, and vendors. Ensures accuracy and appropriateness of information in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Works with the content owners to define requirements and ensure integrity and functionality on assigned web projects. Manages multiple projects and deadlines.Responsible for the creation and integrity of web content management system (CMS) Front-End code.Demonstrates leadership, decision-making and team building skills.Oversees and approves designs, developments of creative intuitive solutions to support the business/functional area.Designs and develops web interfaces using HTML, scripting, CSS and graphics.Has experience with common front-end frameworks.Modifies and optimizes graphics for use on the web.Develops, edits and proofreads content provided by content owners and ensures its compatibility for the web channel.Develops and enforces web-publishing standards to the Bank’s ADA compliance requirements.Partners with marketing to implement, understand, and support SEO/SEM objectives.Uses CMS tools or HTML editors to apply content and design standards to pre-defined templates.Works closely with back-end developers in an agile environment to bring web designs to life as well as the necessary connections to the Adobe Experience Manager components.Researches and remains current on emerging industry methods and standards.Manages multiple projects and deadlines.Researches, reviews and applies emerging trends in web design technologies and user experience best practices.Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.Work with your team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.Other duties as required.Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required:Undergraduate degree in web design, interactive marketing, Computer Science, or equivalent, with 4-6 years’ experience.Demonstrated organizational and project management skills, with ability to prioritize and multi-task successfully in a deadline-intensive environment.Expert understanding of web development best practices, including cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, usability, SEO, web analytics and coding.Knowledge and use of HTML, Scripting, CSS, front-end frameworks and browsers; working knowledge of Java Script preferred.Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager preferred.
