Priorities include management and execution of PM schedules, repair of any equipment that is needed to maintain maximum production rates and maintenance of an adequate spare parts inventory. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and also fulfill on-call duties for repairsEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environmentImmediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to Facilities Manager or his designeeCommunicate with all plant personnelUnderstand and practice GF CORE VALUESAdhere to ISO 9001Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirementsSupport other Business UnitsMaintain and build job skills through company or external training programsResponsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employeesRequires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisorEnsure that all scheduled Preventive Maintenance duties are completed in a timely mannerEnsure that all equipment is kept in a proper and safe working conditionCommunicate with GF support servicesFollow all company Safety rules and guidelines in operating machinerySustain the 6S system throughout all work areasMaintain facility housekeepingTroubleshoot and repair equipment that is not operating properlyRequired Skills/Abilities:Advanced industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and pneumatic skills including troubleshootingUnderstanding of GF manufacturing process including troubleshootingUnderstand purpose and proper use of small hand and power toolsStrong time management and task prioritization skillsSelf-motivatingStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and communicate to other plant personnelEducation and Experience:3-5 years’ experience in Hydraulics, Electrical, Electronics, and MechanicalHigh School/Vocational School Diploma or equivalent, preferredWorking Conditions / Physical Requirements:Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production areasAbility to lift 50 poundsAbility to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in extreme temperaturesPosition requires full range of body motion including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting and ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehiclesContact person:Angela TrotterGeneralist Human View email address on click.appcast.io submit your application via the ‘Apply’ button.
