Financial Controller

A privately held, established manufacturing organization is conducting a confidential search for a Financial Controller to oversee accounting and finance operations. The company employs a workforce of approximately 150-300 employees and operates a complex, multi-functional business environment. Job Summary Lead financial planning, reporting, and accounting operations for a growing manufacturing organization, reporting to corporate executive team. Responsibilities Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, inventory accounting and revenue recognition. Manage customer credit terms, credit limits, collections, and related risk-management activities. Recruit, develop, and lead accounting staff. Direct the monthly and annual close process and ensure timely, accurate financial statements. Prepare lender reporting, including borrowing-base certificates and debt-covenant compliance information. Coordinate with external accounting partners on financial statement review activity and tax filings. Manage annual audits and examinations involving banking, insurance, retirement plans, and other compliance requirements. Serve as the primary contact for banking, financing, accounting, and legal relationships; assess capital-equipment financing proposals. Participate in executive-level planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis. Support insurance, contracts, negotiations, and important external business relationships. Research and resolve technical accounting matters to support compliance and sound financial controls.
