Job Description

• Attend live gaming tables for card change procedures according to the company's procedures. 
• Evaluate and keep track of the quality and visual appearance of the cards.
• Properly check and shuffle gaming cards in the card counting rooms (hereinafter, CCRs).
• Follow internal shuffling procedure in the CCRs and at all live gaming tables.
• Follow assigned work rotations when performing duties.
• Adhere to the gaming studio's rules and any other rules that management may introduce at any time.
• Immediately report to the Pit Boss of any risks or committed mistakes, problems, and/or unusual activities in the gaming studio.
• Inform the Pit Boss in a timely manner to replace and/or receive new cards or decks of cards for each shift.
• Maintain and store playing cards in safe areas, equipment for the tables, and keep related documentation up to date.
• Attend training courses/workshops as required and strive to continually improve technical skills.
• Assist with training new shufflers if required by management.
• Follow any updates and amendments in game leading and shuffling procedures.
• Keep a professional demeanor towards players.
• Maintain professional and clear communication with management and peers.
• Keep confidential information within the company’s authorized individuals.
• Perform any additional duties as instructed by management.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• High School Diploma / GED.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Basic computer skills- MS Office, electronic mail, etc.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor, including manner of speech, appearance, and posture in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to deal, shuffle, sort cards and other operating gaming equipment involving highly repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Punctuality and attention to detail.
• Be able to wear assigned uniforms.
• Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming license and West Virginia Casino Employee Registration.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Pay Rate: $15/hr + up to $4/hr Performance Bonus
• Vacation Days: 5 days

PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS

• Prolonged sitting and/or standing for extended periods.
