The Assistant Manager (AM) is a pivotal figure in the restaurant's operations, emphasizing profitability, guest service excellence, team development, and efficient management. Working in tandem with the Restaurant General Manager (RGM), the AM oversees the day-to-day activities of a single restaurant, driving key performance indicators. They function under the RGM's guidance and directly supervise a team of Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members (20-45 employees).

Responsibilities:

• Profitability: Conducts regular Daily, Weekly, and Monthly inventory inspections to manage inventory costs effectively. Places and manages inventory truck orders efficiently. Maintains and monitors a comprehensive list of all restaurant assets.
• Ensures the timely completion of preventative maintenance for the restaurant's facilities and equipment, adhering to Company standards and liaising with external vendors when necessary.
• Enforces cash control and security procedures, including safe counting and managing cash drawers.
• Guest Experience: Motivates and guides team members to surpass guest expectations through prompt, accurate, and amiable service in a clean environment.
• People Development: Provides constructive coaching and feedback to Shift Coordinators and Team Members, enhancing the team's capabilities and elevating restaurant performance.
• Operations: Directs the restaurant team to ensure efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products, adhering to established speed of service guidelines. Upholds operational and brand standards within the restaurant.
• Steps into the role of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of prior experience in quick service restaurant, with management experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of P&L interpretation and management to drive profitability.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Proficient understanding of guest service principles.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular shifts as required for the smooth operation of the restaurant.
