Job Summary TRAIL-EZE is seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components used in the construction of heavy-haul trailers while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and craftsmanship. Perform welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions using an iPad. Maintain required tolerances and quality standards. Position and secure materials using tables, jigs, clamps, fixtures, bolts, and tack welds. Safely operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Move workpieces, tools, and supplies manually or with overhead cranes. Grind, finish, and prepare completed products. Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects or quality concerns. Repair or replace damaged components by removing and installing new parts as needed. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Qualifications and Skills Previous welding and fabrication experience preferred. Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to workplace safety. Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required. Willingness to learn and grow within the company. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing/shop environment.
