Are you a Cost Estimator from a general contracting background, looking to join a rapidly growing business offering real ownership, progression, and long-term opportunity?

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the estimating function within a busy construction environment, getting involved at the very start of the process to produce accurate, competitive cost estimates and staying involved right through to delivery. You will play a key role in pricing work, managing the bid process, and supporting the wider team to win and successfully deliver profitable projects.

The company has a strong and secure pipeline of work and is continuing to expand its pre-construction team. This role offers clear progression into senior estimating and leadership positions as this rapidly expanding business continues to grow.

The Role:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive bids from the earliest stage of each project
• Perform quantity take-offs, review drawings and specifications, and develop accurate scopes of work
• Solicit, analyse, and level subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Stay involved through delivery, tracking costs against estimates and supporting the project team to protect margin
• Collaborate with project managers, operations, and leadership to ensure projects are won and delivered profitably

The Person:

• Experience as a Cost Estimator within a general contractor environment
• Strong understanding of construction methods, quantity take-offs, and cost analysis
• Confident using estimating and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar
• Able to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and stakeholders and drive the estimating process forward autonomously
