Brightside Pediatric Therapy is an in-home and in-daycare speech and occupational therapy clinic that serves families in Contra Costa County. We are growing rapidly and are excited to add personable, motivated pediatric speech therapists to our team. We specialize in early intervention services but are open to a wide range of skills and experiences. Job Summary
Candidates can provide therapy on a full or part-time basis, including the option of 4, 10-hour days with Fridays off. Our therapists will work in-home or in-school, including daycare or private preschool environments.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication delays and disorders in children from birth to adolescence
- Create and implement evidence-based individualized treatment plans to address the specific needs of the family and child using a play-based and family-centered approach
- Provide education and parent/caregiver coaching to families and other professionals to promote speech and language development and effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
- Work collaboratively with professionals from other disciplines on a child’s therapy team

Salary
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology - CFs welcome to apply
- CA state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Ability to commute between families’ homes and schools
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to therapy
- Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Preferred
- At least 1 year of experience working in pediatric speech-language pathology
