Dental AssistantFourth Street Clinic helps Utahns experiencing homelessness improve their health and quality of life by providing high-quality, integrated healthcare. Our team is passionate, collaborative, and deeply committed to health equity and human dignity.You'll work onsite in Salt Lake City, UT, Monday-Thursday from 8am-6pm-four longer days that keep your Fridays free. The day moves at a steady clip: you'll bounce between chairside support and quick resets, keep an eye on what's coming next, and help patients feel comfortable as they move through care. You'll also receive Paid Time Off and a competitive salary (starting at $18.40 depending on experience).As a Dental Assistant, you'll help keep our dental clinic running smoothly so patients get timely, respectful care. You'll partner closely with providers to support safe, efficient visits. Key responsibilities include assisting the dentist during procedures; setting up, cleaning, and turning over operatories, instruments, and materials; welcoming patients into and out of treatment rooms and reinforcing patient education; keeping rooms stocked, disinfected, and ready; pitching in with scheduling, phones, and front desk coverage as needed; and following HIPAA and OSHA requirements. Required qualifications/skills include:- 1-2 years experience in Dental Assisting - High school diploma or GED - Familiarity with dental terminology and tooth numbering - CPR/BLS certification - Radiology certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) - Strong organization, communication, and teamwork - Spanish proficiency preferred If you're ready to grow your skills and make a real impact, apply today.
