Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina.

• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years to be comfortable working on this unit, as it can be challenging for less experience. Prefers 3 years.
• Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers. (But should have experience in large/ high volume similar setting).
• Skills: Circulate, Sterile vaginal exam and competent in immediate newborn care
• Certs: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate and NRP
• RTO: 7 DAYS MAX
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend, a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

RATIOS: 2:1, average 20 births in 24hrs and 30-40 admits, 40 Visits/Day, 20 Rooms Daily Census: 400-600 Number of Visits Per Day: 40 Patient Diagnoses: Obstetrical patients 16 weeks and greater for all intrapartum and for high-risk antepartum and postpartum care. The Birthing Care Unit has an obstetrical triage unit Scheduled and unscheduled Cesarean Births and rescue cervical cerclage are performed.
