**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Physical Therapist in Acute Care!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Physical Therapist (PT) in Acute Care Hospital - **Shift:** Day (5x8-Hour, 08:00 - 16:30) - **Experience Required:** 1 year - **Charting System:** Epic preferred - **Travel Experience Required:** No **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver exceptional patient care in an **Acute Care** setting - Conduct thorough **Assessments**: - Adaptive Devices - AROM/AAROM/PROM - Assistive and Specialty Devices - Pain Assessment - Strength Testing - Vital Sign Monitoring - Ensure meticulous **Documentation** of: - Assessments - Discharges - Evaluations - Short Term Goals - Manage **Equipment and Devices**: - Bed alarms - Call lights - Crutches - Gait belts - Hoyer lifts - Rolling walkers - Sliding boards - Specialty beds (air mattresses) - Standard walkers - Supplemental oxygen delivery - Utilize knowledge in: - **Cardiopulmonary/Circulatory Conditions** - Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) - **Neurologic Rehabilitation** - Dementia/Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, Post Stroke Rehabilitation - **Orthopedic Care** - Gait training, hip/knee injuries, post-operative rehabilitation (cervical, shoulder, spinal), total hip and knee replacements - Support a diverse **Patient Population**: - Adults - Geriatrics - Maintain patient ratios: - Days: 1:4 - Weekends: 1:1 - Commitment to **Professional Skills and Knowledge**: - Home Exercise Programs - Patient and Family Education - Safety and Injury Prevention **Additional Information:** - **Patient Age Groups**: Adults, Geriatrics - **Daily Census**: 175 - **Number of Visits Per Day**: 8 - **Orientation Hours**: 24 **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
