Job Summary (Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant School-Based, San Antonio, TX):

- Provide speech-language therapy services to children across several schools (within west/southwest Houston area; paid travel time between locations).
- Implement treatment plans and Individual Education Plans (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings (without clinical interpretation).
- Collect and document data to track student progress toward therapy goals.
- Prepare therapy materials, maintain clinical records, and manage equipment as directed.
- Communicate and collaborate with teachers, multidisciplinary teams, and parents to support student success.
- Assist with carry-over activities to reinforce therapy strategies in classroom and home settings.
- Preferred qualifications: Bachelor s degree in communication sciences/disorders or related field, valid Texas SLPA license, bilingual (Spanish/English), school-based and special education experience, knowledge of ARD/IEP processes.
