Key Responsibilities Food Preparation: Chop, mix, season, and cook various ingredients using methods like grilling, frying, baking, or boiling. Recipe Adherence: Prepare dishes consistently by following recipes and portion standards. Quality & Presentation: Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards, garnishing dishes appropriately. Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean workstation, sanitize equipment, and follow all health and safety regulations (e.g., ServSafe). Inventory & Stock: Check ingredient quality, manage stock, and store food correctly to prevent spoilage. Kitchen Operations: Assist other cooks, operate kitchen equipment, and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a hot, noisy environment. Strong time management, multitasking, and teamwork skills. Excellent attention to detail and communication.
