About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with GSK SOLUTIONS INC to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Lawrenceville, Georgia, 30042!

We are seeking an experienced  MedSurg/Telemetry Registered Nurse  for an Acute Surgery Unit. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult surgical patients, including general surgery, vascular, gynecological, colorectal, and trauma populations. This position requires strong assessment skills, telemetry experience, and proficiency with IV starts.

Patient Population:

• General Surgical Patients
• Vascular Surgery Patients
• Gynecological Surgery Patients
• Colorectal Surgery Patients
• Trauma Patients

Shift:  12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 24 Hours/Week

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 Years of Recent MedSurg/Telemetry Experience
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Current AHA ACLS Certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Strong IV Start Experience Required
• Experience caring for surgical and trauma patients preferred
